The first title in The World Games 2022 year will be awarded on 31st January: on that date, it will be decided who will be The World Games Athlete of the Year.
Anna Gay (USA) who won the women’s trick gold medal at the 2021 Visit Lake County Florida IWWF World Waterski Championships has been nominated for The World Games Athlete of 2021. Anna, 22 years old, is a student at the University of Alabama and has been selected to compete in women’s tricks at The World Games Birmingham 2022. She can certainly count on support from the host city of The World Games 2022.
The shortlist for Athlete of the Year 2021 is now online. Online voting begins on 10th January.
Each participant can cast votes for the candidates once per 24 hours on The World Games website. Each time, votes must be given to two candidates: two votes to your first-choice candidate and one vote to your second-choice candidate.
