At the IWWF Asian Congress, held during the 2022 IWWF Asian Waterski & Wakesports Championships, in Chuncheon, South Korea, on Friday 12th August 2022, Saudi Surfing represented by Mr. Mohammed Kurdi, was unanimously approved and welcomed as an Associate Member of the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation Asia.

Mr. Mohammed Kurdi also participated and represented Saudi Arabia in the Masters Men Wakesurf event at the 2022 IWWF Asian Waterski & Wakesports Championships.

IWWF Asia looks forward to collaboration with Saudi Surfing and participation in its events.  Saudi Surfing will be further nominated as a member of the IWWF world body at the next IWWF World Congress.
