Patrice Martin from France was elected President of IWWF European Confederation this past weekend during the 2020 IWWF European Congress held in Athens, Greece.  Patrice has been Vice President of the IWWF European Confederation since 2017 and succeeds Depy Papadimitriou from Greece who has stepped down from her role after 4 years of service.
At a national level, Patrice has been President of the French Waterski & Wakeboard Federation since March 2009 and also sits on the board of directors of the French National Olympic & Sports Committee (CNOSF).
A member of the IWWF International Hall of Fame, Patrice is one of the greatest waterski athletes of all time having won his first European title when he was 13 years old and first world title when he was 14.  He has won 12 world titles, 34 European titles and 26 world records.
