Julia Rick – Germany

Over 200 riders from 25 European countries head to Milan, Italy this coming week to compete in the 2018 IWWF European Cable Wakeboard & Wakeskate Championships to be held at Wakeparadise Cablepark from 12th to 19th August 2018 and hosted by the Federazione Italiana Sci Nautico e Wakeboard.

Defending IWWF European & African Champions Ariano Blanik and Julia Rick, both from Germany, will be looking to reclaim their titles having also won the IWWF Jordan Ayla Cable Wakeboard World Cup in May this year.

Julia is unbeaten in competition for more than a year.  Sanne Meijer (NED) who just last week won the IWWF European Wakeboard Boat Championships will be looking to give Julia Rick a run for her money in the Open Women’s category.

Ariano Blanik, currently in the form of his life, will need to perform at his best again against the likes of current IWWF World Cable Wakeboard Champion, Lior Sofer from Israel, in the Open Men’s category.

The finals of 2018 IWWF European Cable Wakeboard & Wakeskate Championships will be live-streamed on IWWF’s Facebook Page on Saturday, 18th August 2018.
