The IWWF is now seeking a host for the 2022 FISU World University Waterski and Wakeboard Championships.
Federations interested in hosting this event should contact Phil Chase at email@example.com . Federations will then be sent the entire bidding packet and given all the help needed to submit a bid. Bids for the 2022 FISU World University Waterski and Wakeboard Championships must be submitted no later that September 15, 2019, which is the absolute bidding DEADLINE.
The IWWF World University Commission is requesting two things from all Federations by March 1, 2019:
1). A non-binding statement on whether or not your country will be represented at the 2020 FISU World University Waterski & Wakeboard Championships in Dnipro, Ukraine from 22nd to 27th September 2020.
2) Indication if your Federation is interested in hosting the 2022 FISU World University Waterski and Wakeboard Championships?
Wakeboard (Boat) has been approved by FISU as a 4th event for the 5th FISU World University Championships to be held in Dnipro, Ukraine from 22nd – 27nd September 2020. Formal completion of the new rules is still ongoing and waeboard scores will be merged with waterski disciplines to determine an Overall Team Champion. Each team will consist of up to a total of 13 people: six (6) 3-event waterski athletes, four (4) wakeboard athletes and three (3) team officials. With a possibility of only minor changes, this will also be the format for 2022. The 1st Bulletin for that event will be available soon.
