The 2019 South East Asian Games cable wakeboard, wakeskate and waterski events kicks off tomorrow at Deca Wake Park in Clark City, Philippines.
Athletes from Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and host nation Philippines will compete for the first time in SEA Games and multi-sport games history in men’s & women’s cable wakeboard, cable wakeskate and cableski team overall medal disciplines.
Current IWWF Asian Overall Waterski Champion Aaliyah Yoong will lead Team Malaysia in the cableski events and 2018 IWWF World Open Men’s Cable Wakeboard Silver Medalist Raph Trinidad from the Philippines will be the favourite to win the men’s cable wakeboard gold medal.
