The IWWF made the decision to cancel the 2020 IWWF World Water Ski Show Tournament, scheduled to be held 21st & 22nd March 2020 at the Mulwala Water Ski Club. The decision was not taken lightly in view of the COVID-19 situation that is spiralling out of control around the world and with participating teams having already arrived in Australia.
Moving forward, the IWWF wishes to announce that an IWWF World Water Ski Show Tournament will be held in Australia at some point once the world-wide coronavirus situation clears and when event restrictions, travel restrictions and visitor isolation requirements are lifted by the Australian government.
The IWWF regrets not making this clear in its original announcement on the 2020 IWWF World Water Ski Show Tournament.
The IWWF will work with Waterski & Wakeboard Australia, the Local Organising Committee and participating Federations to achieve the running of this event in the future.
Stay safe everyone.
