SportAccord Convention, the most significant meeting of international sports federations, rights holders, organising committees, businesses and other sporting organisations was held in Queensland, Australia this past week.

1700 Delegates, 830 Sports Organizations, 109 International Sports Federations & Associate Members, 84 Nationalities from 176 Cities and Regions attended this convention which is held annually in different countries.

In addition to attending meetings with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), various Sports Organizations and Cities, the IWWF also attended the International World Games Association Annual General Meeting, the  Association of IOC Recognised International Sports Federations (ARISF) General Meeting and the Global Association of International Sports Federation (GAISF) General Assembly.

About the IWWF:  The International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) is the world governing body for towed watersports and has 91 affiliated Federations worldwide. It was founded in 1946 in Geneva, Switzerland. It is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the sole authority for towed watersports.
