Qualifying Stop 2 of the IWWF Wakeboard Euro Tour 2019 took place today. Participants from 8 countries competed in the event at Xtreme Gene, Córdoba, Spain. The awesome Malibu MXZ22 provides a massive wake and towed the riders who were able to perform to the best of their abilities.
Italy team riders won the day taking 1st and 2nd place in Open Women and Open Men categories.
The Open Women winner was Alice Virag ITA, followed by sister Chiara Virag ITA in 2nd place and Anna Maria Kushkovskaya RUS 3rd place, landing a range of inverts and spins – Raleys, Roll to Blind, Tootsie Rolls and 540 Spins.
In Open Men, the Winner was Nicolo Caimi ITA, Stefano Comollo ITA in 2nd place and Paul Johnston IRL 3rd place landing exciting and complex inverts including mobe 5s, whirly birds, and 720 spins.
The IWWF Euro Tour Finals will be held Portugal on 5th October where the top riders in Europe will meet to battle it out for the cash prize and the overall IWWF Euro Tour Championships.
